Post subject: Close drive automatically once opened

How do I get a CD/DVD drive tray to close automatically once its been open
for several seconds like the proper ones do. I cant seem to find any better
driver than whats on XP Pro SP1. Using a SONY DVD RW DW-U14A.

Hmm. Mine don't close automaticaly unless rebooted can't remember an that
ever have. Anyone else see this before as I have not. Anywa just curious.

My Y's seem to be intermittent. Should be.

Wrong. They do not normally automatically close after a few seconds.

Ive bought 3 brand made PC's and made another 3 over the past 9 years and
all the ready-built PC's have had the automatic closing feature. Yet with
all the ones Ive built, no matter what drivers Ive used, I have never been
able to get the tray to close without some manual input or by rebooting..
