I'm using Glacialtech Igloo 4350Light, P4 2.8G, 20dBA on a 3.06P4 533
I've been measuring temperature just on the lowest point on the side of the
sink and the temp was 42°C when I was burning the proc over 2 hours. BIOS
tells me that temp is 82 but i hardly belive that ( perhaps too too too too
much thermal paste

).
So I've conducted another experiment with the standard box cooler which has
stoped temperature rising at 35°C during processor burning.( 79-BIOS

)
Now I'm wondering what did I actually do? Does this have any sense?
I'm asking because the measuring point is the hottest point where i can put
my finger on while the sink is on the processor, but i'm not sure that
temperature there can be used to tell wheater the processor is overheating
or not.
And I just want to be sure that my system will be stabile without crashes,
lockups or any other problems which can be produced by using "weaker"
cooler.
So anyone with similar expirience or knowledge about my situation, please
help
Thank you!
