I am building a economy computer for a friend of mine. Put in a PC chips
motherboard with a duron 1.6 processor. Everything is working great except
the cpu post at 1.2. I have loaded optimized defaults in the bios and there
is only 1 jumper on the board to clear cmos. Thinking about RMA ing the
processor. Before I do that just wanted to make sure I had covered all my
bases. Any suggestions?
Thanks

12x100=1200
12x133=1600
multipler x FSB = CPU speed. The D1600 has a 12 multiplier. Set the FSB to
133 (or higher).
