I have had the same problem and contacted Medion helpline but they
seemed to as puzzled as myself by the problem but could not offer any
explanation or advice to me. I am not sure if the DVD`s were dual
layer or not but I will check. I see it has been a while since you
posted on this and wonder had you made any progress or got any reason
for the problem. My PC hangs when I put in the DVD and I have to
switch off the power and use a paper clip to remove the DVD, if I
leave it in the DVD drive my PC will not boot.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
