Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS(256 MB)
GPU Code Name NV41GS (x16 10DE/00C0 Rev A2)

I know NVIDIA offers drivers for video cards BUT I also see something
called a detonator driver, most times can be located on some websites.

Do I install Both or just one of these driver sets?

And will the newer drivers offer any performance boost considering my
latest driver upgrade is about 1 year old?

nVidia's drivers used to be called Detonator. It was just a brand name.
Now they call it ForceWare. Getting them from nVidia's site alone is fine.

No idea about performance boost, but I wouldn't expect a lot.
