Looking at 3 different Motherboards:

GA-P35 -DS3R
GA-P35C-DS3R
GA-P35 -DS3P

Even when doing product comparisons (newegg) I'm still not clear on what
the differences are between these three boards. Looking to support a dual
or quad core CPU, Vista64 with 4-8GB RAM (but probably DDR2 for now)

Thanks,
/K

P35C supports both DDR2 and DDR3, though can't be used together.

I don't know what's the difference between DS3R and DS3P.

Hello!

Don't forget there is a P35-DS3, which is the basic version with the
Intel ICH9 Chipset.

>GA-P35 -DS3R
All the DS3 has.
+ Instead of the ICH9, the ICH9R is used, which allows RAID
configurations.

>GA-P35C-DS3R
All the DS3R has.
+ In addition supports DDR2 and DDR3 RAM.

>GA-P35 -DS3P
All the DS3R has.
+ 2 PCIe Slots instead of 1 to allow SLI or Crossfire for example.
- One PCI slot less.
+ This board has a firewire connector.

P35T-DS3P
Like the DS3P, but DDR3 instead of DDR2.

Note: There already is a Revision 2.0 of some board variants, but I
don't know what they have changed.
