Post subject: Disabling network boot on 3c905b ??
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>networking, others (more info?)

I have a 3com 3c905b-tx-mba

On any computer, every time I boot, the network card loads it's bios and
tries to boot from network, prolonging the overall boot time by about 30
seconds.. I also have a 3c905c, but it only does this if I select
network boot from within the bios.. The 905b seems to ignore this
setting.. Is there any way to disable this via some firmware flash or
something?
