When I check "Verify Image Contents" under Advanced I get what would
normally be a single image file showing up as 2 files. E.g., C:\
image.PQI (2GB) and C:\IMAGE.002 (0.5GB). I have not asked that it be
split.

I can't find any reference to this in the manual (ver.5). Would anyone know
why this occurs, and what the significance might be?

Thats normal, it always splits into 2GB parts.

Basically thats the lowest common denominator thats
supported by all drive formats. The worst is FAT16.

None except that it ensure you can always copy it anywhere.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought might have had something to do with
the "Verify Image Contents" option.
