I've got a 875p Neo-FIS2R with a single ATA-133 drive attached. I was kind
of disappointed to realize MSI made no provision for a drive activity LED
for the ATA-133 interface. At first I though it wouldn't matter-- every
drive I've ever had made enough noise that I could tell when it was being
accessed. Not so this drive. It's totally silent when it is accessed (the
massive case probably helps).
I would think it wouldn't be too difficult to make a widget that plugs in
between the drive and the cable that provides a pair of pins for the drive
activity LED. Then you could monitor it from the drive instead of the
motherboard.
Does anyone know if such a widget exists, and if so, where I can get one?

Thanks,

Jeff
