I have a duel boot 8KTA3+PRO 98 & XT. I have 4 HD's & need to use the
raid to add a DVD burner. I turned on the raid in the bios & plugged
in one HD into UIDE 1. Booted up to 98 & the drive showed up & ran
fine. Then booted up to XT & the drive would not show. Downloaded the
latest highpoint drivers from Epox web site, when I try to install
them in XT I get a failed message says Inf is for 95 or later.

Yes I did use the XT drivers. 98 & DOS sees the drive fine but XT will
not. Can anybody help? Thanks.

Hi Why,

BIOS version and driver version must match (at least the first two digits
of the version number must match), if you have an old BIOS with version
1.1x of the Highpoint BIOS there is no matching XP-driver.

I had to update the BIOS before I could use the RAID-controller with XP.
