Read my post regarding faulty caps on your MB. Although it may be a PS
problem, it may be a power regulation problem on your MB. Check the
capacitors on your MB and look for swollen (bulging) tops and any brown
looking tar-like substance on the tops of your caps or directly below them
on your MB.
The capacitors are used in the regulator circuit as a filter on your MB.
Without the filter, the power supply will produce excessive noise and, if
leaking, reduced voltages.
