This happens every day.

When I play games after some while my screen starts to flicker in all sorts
of colour.

But this doesn't happen every time.
When my brother plays Dungeon Keeper 2 it NEVER happens.
But when he plays Hard Tuck: 18 Wheels it happens after one minute!!!!

It also happens sometimes in windows aplications.
I tried insalling new drivers, reinstalling Windows but nothing helps.

I have

PIII 667Mhz
GeForce 4 MX 420
384 MB RAM
Epox motherboard - VIA appolo pro 133

Might be a power problem...

Sounds vague, but from memory I recall that VIA based motherboards sometimes
caused strange problems for AGP and USB.
See if you can find an updated AGP driver for your chipset, either on the
via or the epox website.

Second, check if your GeForce doesn't run too hot. Although I've never heard
of colour flickering as the outcome of overheating, distorted 3d and 2d is.
So check if the fan on the card is running as it should. Keep you case cover
off and run for some time, just to make sure that it runs, and keeps
running.

Finally, there still are some motherboard/video card combinations that are
just not compatible. Do a check through Google to see if you exact
motherboard type and a GeForce4 MX are on any 'no-go' list.

Hope you sort it out,

Cheers,
