Hi.
I've got a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse, but the range is only about
two metres. I know this is pretty much the norm these days, but does anyone
know of a cordless keyboard and mouse set with a greater range; considerably
greater?

I have a friend whose cordless set goes miles. I think it may be a little
older, and maybe less sophisticated, but it's range, and not total coverage
that I'm after. I use speech on my PC because I am blind, and need to be
able to take my keyboard into a different room, whilst communicating back to
the PC via the speech in my ears. Can anyone help? Even if there's nothing
ont he market now with a big range, can anyone recommend an older model I
could try and pick up half price? Thanks.

I have an Logitech MX700 - I could go out of the room, and it would work at
the bottom of the stairs.

You should also be able to get wireless extensions for ps2 and usb, which
may be an option if you like and have gotten used to your existing
equipment.
