Post subject: GA-7VA Rev1.0 bad elco
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>gigabyte (more info?)

I yesterday received a mobo with sometimes random behavior.
After a quick look, I noticed that three capacities seem to be bad
EC29, EC27 and EC28. Especially EC29 shows a noticeable liquid leakage
at its top. For the two others, the leakage is very small, at their
tops as well.
It seems that a lot of mobo have the same problem. The question is why :
bad capacitor, high frequencies.
Any idea ?
