hello dear people.
Strange behaviour - my usb devices keeps power on when my computer is
shutdown (led, lights and so..). I tried almost everything in the BIOS
related to wake up calls in the Power Management.
ACPI is set to S1, i've disabled PME and Power on by ring and alarm...

Please help.

Thanks.

On previous generations of motherboards, the manufacturers would use
a power selection header. The name might be something like USBPWxx.
The header has three pins, and a jumper. Placing the jumper in one
position, selected +5V as a power source for USB. Using the other
position for the jumper, selected +5VSB as the power source. The
+5V option would be the one you want, as that power source is turned
off when the computer is sleeping.

The latest generation of motherboards, does away with that header.
The manufacturer saves $0.03 by doing so. The user is then restricted
to using only +5VSB for USB.

+5VSB runs while the computer sleeps. And that is why the LEDs on
your USB devices are still lit.
