GA-K8NF-9 internet is not working after updating BIOS

Hi there,

I have problem connecting to the internet after I update my BIOS from F1 to
F7. I tried going from F1 to F6 and it's the same result. Do I need to
update the BIOS in sequence? I.e. F1 -> F2 -> F3... etc.

The internet is working fine in version F1. When I did this test, all the
drivers' version are constant when using F1, F6, and F7. Any suggestions?

Everything is working fine with me, i just updated from f4 to f8 and i
don't see any problems. Do you use latest nvidia nforce4 drivers, if you
are try reinstaling them !

No you need any BIOS you like to update like F1 and the latest is F7 then go straight easily from F1 to F7 and then reboot and then save CMOS in BIOS Setup and then reboot that how it work fine also you need to locked BIOS by using BIOS Write Protection to stay same way as it aviod making it mess - change from Auto to Enable, I locked my K8NXP-9 BIOS as write protection so it kept the BIOS ID hidden..

This what i read on some forum from i guy that solved this so it might help
you :

I finally had another go at updating from F1 to the latest F8 Bios. I had
always gone back to F1 because of the onboard LAN not working. After some
browsing I found the solution!! The network adapter address is reporting
backwards!

If you go to network adapter properties and look at your Mac address, if
your network connection is not working, go into the adapter properties ,
then configure, advanced, and in network address manually enter the Mac
address as reported but backwards and without the dashes!

And voila it works!!

K8nf-9 Bios - Anyone have the F3a bios for the Ga-K8nf-9 mobo? I stupidly upgraded to the F4 bios and since then I can't get my overclock stable at more than 230mhz....before with the F3a not the F3 Bios I could get 267mhz with my ram at 133... anyone have this..

K8NF-9 BIOS-flashing - I need some details about BIOS flashing on K8NF-9. I have already flashed some devices, but now I have problem with flashing this motherboard bios. I received bios F3j from gigabyte and want to test it . Problem is that this F3j seems to be me in..

~GA K8NF-9 Will Not Boot To Bios~ - Will not boot on startup, and gives more than 11 beeps when CPU installed? Any help would be appreciated, I've tried different power supply, reset the bios, with a jumper, and by taken the battery out, nothing happens. Only thing is that I don't have is....

Did anyone update ga-k8nf-9 to new f3 bios ? - I still didn't because i dont'h have a floppy drive so i can only update it through @bios and i'm not sure will it work and will it mess up my pc ? And what's the diference to f2, it only says update cpu microcode, what is that ?
