GA-P35C-DS3R - For those who use this mobo, please tell me what ddr2 you are using. I am thinking of this for my new system but don't know what brand of ddr2 is site doesn't have this info. Does it support CL4 or even CL3 ddr2?

P35-DS3R won't boot - I just recently bought a Gigabyte P35-DS3R with a 2.0G dual core It has been working great, but I was linux as a dual boot the other day and I put in an extra IDE drive on a PCI and now it won't even boot. It stops at..

GA-P35-DS3R won't boot with IDE drive attached - I just bought a with a 2G dualcore2 processor and 1G of memory. was going fine until I installed the hard drive. My CD-ROM reader boots okay, but when I install an IDE hard drive on the IDE cable, my system hangs. ..

Any one know if there is a version of Linux that works with this
motherboard and a core 2 processor? I have tried several versions, but
they all hang during the installation.

You might try SUSE 10.3. It works on my p35-ds4 rev. 2.0 with a quad 6600
CPU.

Thanks, but I finally got it to work using Ubuntu 64-bit version
