Can someone tell me what happens when I select Top Performance on the
BIOS setting screen? The manual only says make sure your stuff can be
over clocked. Am I to assume this setting will over clock my system
in some predetermined way? I assume optimal are the settings the cpu
and memory claim they can run at. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Don Wells

Top Performance tweaks the NorthBridge memory controller timings. If your
components, usually the RAM, are unable to handle the tweaked settings your
mobo will not POST or will usually not get very far in the POST resulting in
you having to clear the CMOS to recover.

Thank you. It would seem that leaving it alone is prudent.
