GeCube quality is fine. Your card, however, lacks HDMI, and has 64bit memory
interface. If all you want is a 2D card it's fine. But don't get it thinking
it'll do gaming or HDTV properly.

It is a LOT worse for gaming. In 2D no difference. A 7600GS actually quite a
decent performer. It's equivalent would be something like the X1650 Pro AGP
card, which is 128bit and pretty good. Just be aware the the current drivers
from ATI/AMD are non-functional in 3D mode for AGP cards, and have been this
way from the 7.6's to the current 8.1's. Their 8.1 hotfix to restore DirectX
3D for AGP didn't work on the X1650 Pro I use in one box. I was going to
pick up a 7800GS or 7600GS to replace it, but I've decided to ditch the
whole AGP setup do a major upgrade to dual core and PCI-Express.

I have an AGP X1950 Pro and all the current drivers have worked for me?

You're one of the lucky ones. It's not an issue for every ATI AGP card, but
a there's big chunk of them.

Are you sure it's you're card and not the power supply?

The Sapphire 2600XT is by far the best of these choices, by the way.

Yes, you are right -- if the OP wants to do 3D gaming.

Looking at the user reviews for Gecube's HD2xxx and HD3xxx cards, the brand
is pretty good. Over 80% of users gave the cards 4- or 5-stars.
