P6SBA - AGP Card Compatibility - Hi, I've got a P6SBA, currently running a 2x speed card. I would like to upgrade this card to the much newer 8x GeForce FX 5200. Are the AGP voltages okay to support this? I know that the card will only run at 2x speed though. regards,

I just moved a server with a P4DPE-G2 motherboard into a new room. It
had been connected to a HP Procurve 2324 gigabit module before, and
worked fine. In the new room, it's connected to a Cisco Catalyst gigabit
switch, and it won't see the link at all. There's no link light no
matter how much I try. If I plug it into a 100Mb switch (another Procurve),
the link lights up immediately.
Any ideas on getting it to talk to the Cisco? I flashed the BIOS to the
most recent version, and it didn't help.

It turns out this is a somewhat known issue with this (and some other,
related) board. The onboard NICs won't talk to some switches, are flaky
with others, and just plain work with still others. It's fixed in the X5DP*
series of boards.
