Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>storage (more info?)

I justy Bought a WD 1 TB GREEN POWER HD

I believe it's the model that fluctuates between 5400 RPM and 7200RPM

Will this be ok to edit HD video with, since traditionally I have uses
7200RPM drives only.

Also, is there a utility which measures Hard drive RPM?

TIA

jeff
