Kinda odd really. My mouse pointer disappears on the screen when using
Gemstar GuidePlus. It will reappear on the top of the screen (sometimes) to
use the file menu. Make it extremely tricky trying to select a program to
record, etc, etc.

I have an AIW 9600 XT with the latest drivers and MMC 9.02
Also:
Asus CUSL-C w/ PIII 1ghz
512mb PC133sdram
Creative Blaster live 5.1
USR modem
Lynksis nic
Pinnacle DV500 plus capture card
Pioneer AO6
5 various hard drives

Can somebody offer a suggestion? Is there an update or something?

I had the same problem with my AIW 9600 and someone on this group furnished
the following link about this known issue:

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4234.html" target="_blank">http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4234.html</a>

I applied the changes shown for "TV Setup" and it solved the problem, at
least I think that's what solved it. Right after I made the changes the
cursor seemed to be fine but later it started disappearing again. I went to
TV Setup again and my changes were not there so I applied them again and
rebooted. Since then it has worked ok.
