Gyration Mouse gyro mode seems to go to sleep

Hi All,

I've just bought a 2.4GHz Gyration GO Compact Keyboard and Mouse. I've
been trying it out for a few things, and mostly it's been reasonably
good. I haven't had a chance to explore it completely yet, but I've
found one possible fault/bug.

Basically, if I leave the mouse on a surface for a while, and then pick
it up and try to use it in 'gyro' mode, it won't work: I can try
pressing the motion trigger, waving it around, etc., but the pointer
steadfastly refuses to move. However, the LED at the bottom stays
active - ie. it stays in 'desktop' mode.

Dropping it back into the cradle seems to reset the mode, and then
it'll work again.

Anyone know if this is a feature or a bug?
