Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>msi-microstar (more info?)

I have a K7T266 Pro2 and a 2 month old WD 120 Gig hd.

My computer is 2 years old and I have good Power Surge protection. I have
checked the HD with the WD SATA scanner and it says there are no drive
errors.

Twice in the last month my HD disappeared on boot up and I had to restore
the bios to get it back. I also get SATA errors on occasion.

Any suggestions as to what may cause this are appreciated.

Thanks-
Ted--
