looking for AM2 compatible mobo with HDMI, 2 IDE connections, 4 gig 800 DDR2
memory and SPDIF if lucky. Prefer to keep PCI RAID controlled- HDs but not
essential. Okay with onboard video but will likely add separate video card
later. Would appreciate mobo recommendations and suppliers. TIA, F

From Asus? Search on their site for HDMI returns only one, M2A-VM
HDMI. It even happens to be an AM2 socket board. Looks like a decent
platform for a HD movie machine.

Integrated HDMI without integrated video would be a rather odd
combination, don't you think? M2A-VM HDMI Seems to have only one IDE
connector though.
