A Knoppix bootable CD and dd_rescue it comes with for the
drive/partition copy?

Knoppix has dd_rescue, at least every version I used so far had it.
I allways have a few Knoppix CDs around as a "swiss army knive".
And I agree, I found dd_rescue to be very handy for all kinds
of image copy operations incuding on problematic media (which
I have not had too often so far). Also the progress indicator
and speed indicator makes it far superiour to plain 'dd' for
this task.

That is so very user friendly. That must have been thought over very well.
Thank you for testing your apps so very thoroughly.

Gosh, his case is a first. He must be very special.
Why not offer him a free version of your software for offering
his case as a special opportunity for bettering your software.
