like Skid says, look for "ACPI Multiprocessor PC" under the computer entry
in device manager and look for two cpu's under the Processors section. if
you don't see those, then HT did not get enabled at the OS level.
did you swap the CPU after the OS was installed? if so, the OS will
*usually* detect that and add the multi-processor support on the next boot
but there are cases when that does not happen and a reinstall of the OS is
required.
