On bootup it regconizes the CPU as a 2.4 and then goes to a screen that tells me the CPU ratio has changed and needs to be set up and saved in BIOS. If I exite I can boot into Window XP...
Change boot device order/KT400 Lite? - I have the Dragon KT400 Lite. I can't seem to find an option in the BIOS settings to change the order of devices to boot from first. I don't know if I'm simply not seeing. If it's there, somebody point me in the right direction. thanks.
K7VTA pro and max processor?? - Hey, I currently have a Soyo K7VTA Pro mb with a duron 950, I am going to upgrade but their website says I can put up to a 2100+ in it. Can I go higher? The bus speed on the 2400+ is the same so I am just wondering if anyone has experiance with this. ....
Processor question... - I just purchased a Duron 1.6 ghz without yielding to the allowed processor speed (which is 1.3 ghz, according to Soyo's site) So I was wondering if I put this Duron in my motherboard, will it mess it up, or can I just clock the 1.6 ghz to run at 1.3 ghz?...
Processor speed and booting - I've got a KT-400 with a 2000+ running XPsp1 and there's a strange problem with the processor speeds. If I do a cold boot the processor speed shows correctly in the system properties of control panel as 1.67 GHz.. If I restart the system (warm reboot).. |
