Post subject: IC7 Max3 Bios 16

Would someone please confirm if Bios 16 takes out of the cmos the Lan
enable/disable and the only way to disable is in Device Manager. Thanks.

Colin,

Don't shoot me if I'm wrong on this but if you didn't disconnect power
and clear the CMOS after the flash I think that can cause what you are
seeing.....

Can confirm that it doesn't. As Leon has already said, if you didn't reset
your CMOS after flashing (naughty!), the LAN chop controls, and indeed those
for some of the other integrated peripherals, will mysteriously disappear
from the BIOS setup screens.

Reset your CMOS and the control you're looking for will come back.

clear the CMOS with the jumper with all power removed and the menu option
will return.
