I'm in the process of building a new P4 system which needs two HDDs.
Running XP Pro with an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe MOBO.

Now I have a twofold question.

1. There have been numerous discussions as to whether DriveImage2002 or V7.0
should be used for imaging XP - Symantec says V7.0, but many others
recommend 2002 & to definitely not use V7.0
What are your eexperiences on this?

2. If I want to use a S-ATA drive for my Pri OS & image over the OS from my
Sec. ATA drive, can B.M. handle this, if so, which version?

Sorry, that should have read D.I. at the bottom, not B.M.

The Symantec site says about V7.0 -

"Save your backup to virtually any internal or external drive (CD or DVD
burners, USB or FireWire devices, network locations"
Now, I don't know whether that also implies S-ATA in there somewhere.

(I rang Symantec, finished up in Malaysia, was given an ID No., was put on
hold for 90 minutes, then gave it away)
