Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>supermicro (more info?)

I have a supermicro board for the dual 3.6GHz Xeon pentium processor
with an adaptec raid card using RAID 0 for the "C" drive. Rebooting
takes 6 or 7 minutes with the parameters set for "fast boot".
Supermicro tech support calls this normal, but I wonder.

Any advice appreciated. TIA, Ken
