Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>nvidia (more info?)

Hi all,

I'm working on a PowerPC based project and am trying to initialize the
card -a GeForce FX 5200- to display a picture at 320x200x8bpp (256 colors).
The system having no Bios, the PCI VGA Bios is not executing. I cannot
include in my project a x86 emulator as I have very little memory for the
initialization.

Would anybody have some init code for nVidia GeForce cards? Documentation
(PCI config space + I/O map)?

Google did not yield significant results nor did contacting nVidia.

Regard,

MC

Yay for the GeForce 3 Ti! :D - Okay - my GeForce 3 has been proclaimed dead (officially) twice, both by mine and your lots accounts. However, it came back to life in zombie form the other day after trying one last time with testnvram.com - and has been working fine ever since. Apart..
