Issue with intel D865PERL sound

Hello,

I have a Intel D865PERL Motherboard and I have an issue with the
sound. Every 2 minutes (give or take a few seconds) the system sound
from the built in sound stops for a second or so...

I've flashed the Bios to the newest version, installed the updated
sound drivers from intel, and it doesn't help.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
