Post subject: K7N2 Delta-L onboard sound question.
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>msi-microstar (more info?)

Does anyone know whether or not the onboard sound card on the K7N2
Delta-L board supports EAX? Literature from both nVidia and MSI are
confusing, to say the least.

So this is then how I understand it:

Even though the APU itself is capable, this motherboard only uses the
AC97 part of the functionality. Does that sound right? (Sorry for
all the questions.)

Thats about right.
On some boards(not the Delta-L)the sound chip is there.
