K7S5A+AMD XP 2400 - I'm the owner of a K7S5A (version 3.1a). I recently purchased an AMD XP at 2400 Mhz with 266 FSB. The supports SDRAM(133 Mhz) & DDRAM(266 Mhz). Until now I used a Kingston 512 MB SDRAM 133 Mhz and Direct-X showed that an AMD XP 1493..

What fsb to run 2600+ 333 cpu at in K7S5A Pro? - I've just bough a K7S5A Pro mobo with AMD 2600+ cpu. I've currently got the bios set at 133/133, but found that I can have it set to 166/133. I have a K7S5A motherboard.

The last few times I've booted up the computer, it has beeped at me 5 times,
just a few seconds before the XP desktop was finished. Any idea what this
means?

The computer seems to be working fine, as far as I can tell but the beeping
feels ominous somehow. How do I diagnose this?

I think that 5 beeps indicates cpu failure. Possibly do some searching in
google.
Clogged heatsink, faulty cpu fan, etc.
