I often can't turn it back easily.

I run my machine 24/7 with no problems. Runs like a champ. However
recently, when I power the machine off and try to turn it back on the
next morning, the machine won't respond to the power button. However
I can usually get it to respond by disconnecting the PS cable, and
plugging it back into the board.

Any ideas?

I guess one idea I have is that maybe when I pull the PS cable out, it
ever so slightly lifts/bends the board up. Maybe there is a short?

Does just unplugging your AC from the PSU for several minutes do the same
thing?

Not sure. However last time this worked, flipping the PSU switch
didn't do anything.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Did that several months ago when I was experiencing freezes on a cold
boot. However I'm now having problems booting at all (meaning my
cooling fans won't even turn on)!

I am having the same issue. Not on every bootup but every once in a while.
Usually taking the cover off and wiggling the wire from the heatsink fan to
the mobo will fix it. Sounds like a short to me. Other fans in my pc turn on
it's just the one going to my heatsink that doesn't start up.
