Hi All,

I have a K7T Turbo 2 and I just took out a Duron 900MHZ and
installed an XP 1800+. I set the FSB jumper to 133 and the bios
runs it at the proper 11.5 multiplier; however, the bios detects it as
UNKNOWN.

I downloaded and installed the latest bios version 3.5 and it still won't
detect it. It seems to be working ok, is there anyway to fix the detection?

Thanks

You might try doing a windows update. I believe there's a XP driver
for Athlon CPUs...maybe for other windows too.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

The lastest BIOS for the Turbo 2 is 3.6. But I had a 1800+ on a Turbo 2 and
it showed correctly so I don't think that is the probelm. Have you uncapped
jumper J17?
