Hello,

Is someone know or i've tried which cpu i can put on a MSI K7T Turbo v3
maximum ?
For exemple, can i put an Athlon XP 2600+ FSB333 and make it working at 266
FSB.

I know that you will find it strange but i really want to know it.

I don't reckon you'll get the answers here, I've asked the same question
about my K7T Turbo 2, my problem is that according to the MSI website my
bios covers the athlon 2600+ but the highest my bios will allow me to set my
mulipliers is 15x which even with a 2600 will still give me only 2000mhz, I
think with our boards you have to try and hunt down a Athlon 2600+ with a
FSB of 266mhz and they are like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Why bother with the 2600, the 2400 will overclock to 2.2mhz no sweat on this
board...and it's readily available?

This question has already been answered at LEAST TWICE in this NG, could be the
reason you're not getting answers.

I also have this board. It will only go as high as 2400, due to the fsb
being 266. 2400 works just great on my machine. I believe that there is no
2600 with a fsb of 266, but I could be wrong as I haven't checked the AMD
site looking for one.
