I want know if my old motherboard Soyo K7VTA Pro will can to recognize
an new hard disk type DiamondMax Plus 8 (PATA 133?)

If it is still an ide drive it should be fine. It just will never go above
ata133 speed.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

well.. I am not worried about speed because from an ATA speed to next
the differences are minimal.. just like it happens with AGP speed
(check yourself switching with Powerstrip and benchmarking with
3Dmark). Today for speed on hard disks the only way is SCSI.
