Post subject: K7VTA-Pro noisy sound with software cooling

When I use VCool with Windows98 on the K7VTA-Pro, I get a background noise
like a crackling or rumble. I remember reading somewhere that this is a
common problem and there are workarounds. Can anyone point me in the right
direction?
