Does anybody know where one can buy the K7VTA3 V7 mainboard? I can't
seem to find the V5 (which would suffice) or V7 version of this motherboard
anymore. The only thing I currently see if the V6 version on sale at
Outpost.com. Any suggestions are welcome. I've visited all the online
supplies that ECS recommends and I can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance.

Frys usually has a continuous supply of new boards coming in. You can
rummage thru their stock and usually find different versions. When I
bought my latest board from Fry's they had some old combo sale items
on the top shelf which included the K7VTA3 v5 with an 1800xp athlon
for $64.99 for both.
I don't think Gateway sell them.

Fry's Electronics had a deal this week on the K7VTA3 motherboard and
AMD Athlon XP2400+ for $89.99. I assume it is the latest released
revision of the motherboard, but unfortunately I don't really know
that. The store is on the other side of town from me and that is
almost 40 miles.
Maybe someone here can clue us in on what revision Fry's is carrying
with the combo special.

On their website (output.com) they appear to have the V6 revision of the
board. While I suppose the stores might be carrying a different version,
I doubt it. Plus, in my case, Fry's is something like 70 miles away. I
don't need the motherboard that badly. There are other brands. I just
already have 3 V5 boards and 1 V3 board. I was looking to get another V5
or V7 board to replace the V3 board I have.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the info. I might get this board. I'd still prefer a V7 if
possible (RAID and FIREWIRE would be nice). Not critical, but nice.
