SY-K7VEMPRO 4 Beeps Shuts off - I get four beeps and it shuts off. The board came as a 3n1 kit from SOYO. I'm using AMD AThlon 1100. I have two identical CPUS to test with. Testing w/ no memory etc. tried both bus speeds. MB

Soyo K7VEMPRO & Athlon CPU - Soyo werbsite says this board can run an Athlon 1800 Palomino core. So I took out the Duron 850 Mhz that was running OK in there, set the FSB jumper to 266 MHz and watched it heat up and not boot. As far as I can see, nothing in BIOS to change as far as.

SY-K7VEMPRO Screen Funky on boot - For some reason whenever I boot from my system on my older monitor the screen is all funny. Then windows login area looks fine and so does windows, but I cannot read the bios info on the post at the beginning it is squiggly. It's sort of like it's trying.

Had this mobo for a couple of years. Just in the lat couple of weeks,
the monitor screen is "wiggly". The text looks like it is waving in
the breeze. I have checked all the connections, and downloaded the
latest driver. What next?? Try a video card?? Is the mobo bad??
Help...
