just finishing building this with a A64-3700....no matter what I do I can
not get the MCP Lan controller to work. Windows XP shows it as active with
no errors but I can not access the net or my network. I have tried with the
access manager and without. I did not install the Nvidia firewall and
Windows firewall is disabled as soon as I slap in my old SMC Nic card I have
instant internet...this is baffling me. This board shows supposedly as Fast
Ethernet by Marvell with gigabyte ..but there is no drivers that will
install for an 88E1111. Am at a loss here...maybe I missed something stupid.

it just keeps telling me that they are the wrong srivers..even the one's
from the website...I may just have to wipe the system and start all over
again...I seem to have a few driver issues happening...this board seems to
hate my X800XL as well. For all the systems I have built...I have never had
as many issues as I have now..go figure..customer's systems turn out
fine..my own goes for a Sh**!

But you will have to admit that it is better for the customers systems
to work (grin)

yes sir...that is what paid for this...but after going to Amdmb forums last
nite..found out I wasn't alone. Foolowed some tips for BIOS and BOOM..I AM
RUNNING!!!! my 3dmark03 scores are lower than my other rig but am still
working on that..plus I have now been able to take my 3700 up to 2533mhz and
am 100% stable.......
