Hi,
I've search a lot about this argument but nothig was useful for my
problem.
I've a K8NF-9, and a couple of month ago I've update its bios to F4.
Today I want to update to F9 but I cannot do it. Q-Flash said me that
flash is unknown and after try to update a message about flash write
protection appair. The same was when I've tried with @Bios!

Question:
Is there a flash write protection on the motherboard? I cannot found
news on it on user manual or bios option.

Can you help me to solve this strange problem?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my ugly english Smile

This is not a write protect that I am aware of. Have you tried updating to
an interim release, say F6 or F7 then to F9?

I tried with F8 but it was the same. However, after several attempts, I
succeded to write bios in the flash by DOS through a DOS starting
floppy using the program .exe annexed to bios file downloaded from GB
web site. Now Q-Flash and also @Bios recognize correctly the flash
type.

Bye
