Hi,

I have a K8V SE Deluxe running Linux (2.6.4).

When loading the LAN module (sk98lin), I've got a strange error :

Mar 8 21:55:45 oxy2 kernel: Class: internal Software error
Mar 8 21:55:45 oxy2 kernel: Nr: 0x19e
Mar 8 21:55:45 oxy2 kernel: Msg: Vpd: Cannot read VPD keys

After some investigation, I found that the driver considers that the VPD
Eeprom has a bad checksum...

This error make the kernel unable to count all information for ifconfig
(everything stay to 0), but the LAN is ok and I made some transfert up
to 10800MB/s on a 100HD hub (so it's good).

Does anyone else use the same board ? Do you have the same error ?

Thk,

Marc.
