Hello, I was enjoying the stability of my not so new leisure, system
(KR7A-Raid, athlonxp 2200, 512 ram, hds and all), and didn't care
about the not too up-to-date problem. Now I guess I have to, since it
doesn't start any more (no gpu recognition, no boot, no he access,
just all the system fans spinning and a black screen).
What does it mean if the leds indicator (three, d14 for standby power
- d16 power on - d17 reset) all turn on, and stay on; I would expect
d14 on all the time, d16 when the system is on, and d17 just when the
reset button is pressed. BTW, I have pulled off the cable for the
reset button, but d17 still turns on!
Is it some broken electrical component, some capacitor, something that
can be repaired, or do I have to search for some replacement (not
needed, if it kept working!). I needed the 4 ata connectors, the 6
pci, the H/S mounting holes for my pal8045 (and perhaps for the silent
tower I wanted, although the socket direction wasn't the best). Is
there some model I should watch first, without changing my whole
system (don't need anything more!).
Any help? Smile
