OK... Just put a new W2k/SP4 build on a 3YO KT6 Delta with an AMD 2500+ and 768M 3200 RAM. Vid card is an NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti driving thru a Viewsonic PF790. Vid drivers are current and DL'd from NVIDIA before the rebuild. Also have all the MS Live Updates. Everything is good with the exception that after I set a time for the screen saver and power saving mode... I get no response. The desktop remains visible all the time. I reset CMOS and checked this situation with another AGP card. A 3DFX Voodoo4 4500 with the latest drivers I could find online. Same dif... So, what have I overlooked? Anyone have any ideas for me?
