KT7A Ver 1.0 and GeForce FX5500

kt7a and xp cpu - Is it still the case that KT7A's will take all XP CPU's? I am looking to AMD Athlon XP2800+ 2.083GHz 333MHz, 512KB Barton in my KT7A. Is there a problem with running it on a 266MHz bus? Will I get full speed (or more) out of it? TIA for the advice.

KT7A and what XP? - Hi there, I have KT7A rev1.1 and want to put new XP on. My choices are: 1) XP 1800+ Palomino @ 35 euros 2) XP 2400+ TBred @ 77 euros 3) XP 2500+ Barton @ 85 euros What would be the best for each of these config? Thanks.

kt7a and xp-m 2600+ - hello, to make it short: bought a xp-m 2600+, put it in the kt7a, had to do a wiretrick (grounded AJ27) to get of 13 and above. with fsb 133 only 17 booted (2266mhz @ 1.6v). my question is now: what shell i do to get 15 ... 16.5 with fsb..

kt7a & usb 2.0 - Anyone installed a usb 2.0 card on this mobo?

XP-M 2500+ or XP 2400+ for KT7a - I've been thinking about this off and on for a while now, but would I be beter putting one of these (XP-M 2500+) or one of these (XP 2400+) ..

I tried using this board and it failed the video present test on boot.
Since it is an AGP 4x/8x board I presume that it won't work with my mobo
since the mobo documentation says it supports only 1x/2x. However there is
mention in the A9 BIOS update about GeForce MX400. I am curious if the A9
BIOS also causes support for this board. I am using BIOS 7N. Does anyone
know?

While the KT7A supports agp 4x, it only supports it with certain voltages
IIRC, and wasn't fully compliant with AGP 2.0. I don't think I got an
FX5200 to work in it. Only supports 4x mode at 1.5v.
