Hello,
I have a Duron 1800 on a cheap KT266A "Syntax 266" mb where
the cpu is true running at 1800 Mhz when letting the BIOS doing automatic
cpu setup => 133 (266) Mhz FSB and 13.5 multiplier
But it can be quite a lot overclocked !
Mine is actually running at 2025 Mhz => 150 (300) Mhz FSB
It's as stable with PC133 SDRAM as with PC3200 DDR-SDRAM
This Duron is of the "MIXIB" serie... Very gooooooooooood !!!!!!!
I think it shall run properly on the KT7A (but mine's already powered
by a XP2000... so, didn't try yet the Duron 1800 on it...)
The important thing to know about the Duron 1800 is :
- 13.5 default factory multiplier
- 133/266 Mhz FSB
- true 1800 Mhz cpu core (same core as a XP2400 P-rated cpu I think ?)
;^)
