Hi all,
I have a new KV7 which doesn't let WinXP finish booting. It crashes
("freezes") right at the end of the "scrolling bar" startup window as
it tries to initialise the keyboard and mouse.
I have narrowed down the problem to the the USB mouse (MS
Intellimouse). If I replace it with a PS2 mouse, all is fine and it
boots nicely.
I have seen several vague rumblings about this problem around, but
they haven't been very usefull.
So, any ideas? How do I get the system to boot with a USB mouse?
I have the latest bios, drivers, service packs, the lot.... I know all
the hardware works as all I did was swap my old KT7 with the KV7 and
it used to work fine.
Thanks,
Jeremy
